Victoria Sachar-Milosevich has spent the last 14 years as a special education teacher in Virginia Beach City Public Schools. She is involved with local charity For Kids, one of the largest providers for homeless families in Virginia. Victoria won the coveted Slammy Award at the annual ForKids fundraiser fashioned after NPR's "The Moth Hour.” When Victoria isn't busy with all of this, she enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time with her husband and two fur-children. A dedicated and compassionate teacher who has volunteered her time to act as the faculty advisor of her school's Gay Straight Alliance, she and led her students to organize the first high school GSA assembly making national news due to the unexpected controversy which surrounded it. Victoria encourages her students to think creatively in order to serve their school by leading meaningful discussions about diversity, inclusion and equality.
